What's up, Static? It's me again.


So, yesterday, I talked to about how I was going to publish the double-trilogy and how I wanted to make it a series of movies and all. Later on that day, I went to my message box, saw that she replied to my question, and she gave me her answer. Basically, what she said to me was that she had found me a list of online publishers (almost all of them of which are in the New York-New Jersey area) but even though she recommended at first to take it to a big publisher or two, she quickly realized that my work was a prequel to ALT and said that maybe it would be best that I focus on getting it published to the publishers that focus more on the sci-fi stuff. As for the major publishers, she said it would be best that I didn't publish my work to them because of the fact that it's predominantly based on your work.

Also, I heard you guys did a fanfiction contest a while back, right around mid-2011, and there's this one story that's centered around Riley's first days. It's called Quiet Like The Snow, and the author is . So, just the other day, I read it the whole way through, and I thought, "Gee, I wonder that once I get done typing up the second part of the second half of my double-trilogy in a few weeks, is there any way I could use that particular writ as the epilogue to 'Equilibrium, Part Two?'" So, being the curious one that I am, I talked about it with her and wanted to know if she could give me permission to use it as part of my 400-page epic that I'm currently working on. Her answer to me was this: she wanted me to talk it over with you and and see if you guys would approve of my endeavor, and that if you did, then I could use 's piece.

I have also considered opening up a center for people with Autism, AD/HD, and Asperger's, and I gotta tell you, it really tickled my landlord, Sue; however, like everything else, that costs a lot of money, so I concluded later on that, in my opinion, life is the most expensive responsibility a person can have. So, knowing all this, I just want to touch base with you and ask the all-important question: since you and Rick did the fanfiction contest back in Mid-2011 is it up to you guys whether I can use 's ALT-based fanfiction, "Quiet Like The Snow," which was submitted for the contest at the time, or is it up to her?
